If your customer operates from multiple offices and has different contacts for each location, you can easily add separate addresses and contact details for each office in the system. To do this, navigate to the Sites tab within the customer’s profile. From there, click New Site to create a new entry. Enter the full address, along with any specific contact details for that office, such as phone numbers and email addresses. Once all the necessary information is entered, click Save to store the new site in the system. This allows you to manage and reference each office separately, streamlining communication and service delivery for customers with multiple locations.

Additionally, you can assign specific engineers to particular customers based on their preferences or the complexity of the job. For instance, a customer may require that only engineers with a specific skill set or specialised knowledge be assigned to their projects. This can be configured in the system so that when a job is created for that customer, only the designated engineer(s) will be assigned to the task. This ensures consistency in service quality and helps meet customer expectations for expertise on particular jobs.

To assign or reassign engineers, you can use the up and down arrow buttons within the customer’s profile. This feature allows you to adjust the assigned engineer based on changes in availability or customer requirements. Once an engineer is linked to a customer’s account, any new job or build that is created for that customer will automatically be limited to that engineer. This guarantees that only the assigned engineer will be available for job assignment, preventing accidental selection of engineers who may not meet the customer’s specific needs.

In summary, the system provides a robust method for managing customers with multiple offices and for ensuring that the right engineer, with the appropriate skills, is assigned to their jobs. This approach enhances both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring that service is tailored to the unique requirements of each customer.
