Overview of the Documents Window

The Documents window in SAM’s job module  serves as a centralised location for attaching and managing files related to each job. This feature allows you to upload various types of documents, such as job sheets, signatures, and other supporting materials, regardless of the file format.

Uploading Documents

Adding new documents to a Job record is straightforward. Simply click the Import button, which opens a prompt to upload a file directly from your hard drive. Once uploaded, the file name is securely stored in the database, along with any additional notes or descriptions you add to provide context. These descriptions make it easier for users to locate specific documents when reviewing the record.
