or managing non-stock items, the instructions below will ensure a smooth workflow
from part selection to allocation.

  • Go to the Parts menu option and select it. This will
    display the Parts popup window.

Adding Parts

  • Click on Add New to open the Add Part popup window, which overlays onto the existing window.
  • From the Add Part window, click the option to Add Part again to display the Stock List This will show a list of all the parts available in the system.
  • Search for the desired part and click on it to add it to the job.

Multiple Locations

  • If the part is stored in more than one location, a list of depots will be displayed. Select the appropriate depot from which to add the part.

Complete The Parts Selection

  • Continue adding parts until all the required parts for the job have been selected.
  • Once you’ve selected all the parts, close the Stock List menu and enter the required quantities.

Non Stock Items

  • If the part is a non-stock item that needs to be ordered specifically for the job, you can add a text entry to the job for such items.

Save The Parts

  • Click Save to save the list of parts and close the window.

Allocate The Parts

  • Once all parts for the job are selected, click the Allocate The system will allocate all the parts if the required quantities are available in stock.
  • If there is a shortage, the item will be marked as Part, indicating insufficient stock for full allocation.
  • If a part is marked as Pending, it means it is a special item that needs to be ordered for the job.
Once all the parts for a job has been ordered you will need to return to the
job and press the allocated button again to allocate any remaing quatities.
Special items will automatically be delivered to the job.
