The Pricing Tab in SAM’s Job Module provides a dedicated interface for managing job-related costs, making it a vital tool for tracking and finalising job expenses. This feature ensures that all parts used are accounted for and enables seamless invoicing, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in billing processes.

How to Use the Pricing Tab:

  1. Accessing the Pricing Tab:
    • Select a job from the Job List.
    • Click on the Pricing tab, which opens a popup window displaying all the parts and materials associated with the job.
  2. Managing Job Parts:
    • The popup window provides a detailed list of all parts currently recorded for the job.
    • You can review the quantity, description, and cost of each part to ensure accuracy.
  3. Adding Additional Parts:
    • If additional parts were used but not yet recorded, you can add them directly within the Pricing Tab.
    • Simply input the details, such as part name, quantity, and cost, to update the list.
  4. Invoicing the Job:
    • Once all parts have been reviewed and confirmed, you can proceed to invoice the job directly from this window.
    • The Invoice option streamlines the process by transferring all pricing details to the invoicing system, ensuring that no costs are missed.
