User Defined Fields

The User-Defined Fields (UDFs) feature in SAM’s Opportunities Module provides exceptional flexibility and customisation, allowing businesses to tailor opportunity management processes to their specific operational needs. These fields empower administrators to create custom data points that align with unique business objectives, ensuring that every critical piece of information is accurately captured and readily accessible within opportunity records.

Customising UDFs

To maintain consistency and data integrity, changes to UDFs can only be made by administrators. If specific information is critical to tracking and managing opportunities, administrators can seamlessly add the required fields through the administration module, ensuring all relevant data is captured efficiently.

Populating UDFs

To populate User-Defined Fields within an opportunity record:

  1. Select the specific opportunity from the Opportunities List.
  2. Navigate to the UDFs menu option and select it.
  3. When the popup window appears, fill in all the necessary fields with relevant data.
  4. Click Save to securely store the additional details as part of the opportunity record.

Key Benefits of UDFs in the Opportunities Module
