Selecting Preferred Suppliers

To designate a preferred supplier for the product, follow these steps:

• Navigate to the Suppliers menu within the system to display the complete list of suppliers associated with the product.
• Identify the supplier you wish to designate as preferred and tick the box next to their name to confirm your selection.

Selecting a preferred supplier is a valuable feature, particularly when managing reorders efficiently. By designating a preferred supplier, you ensure that when this product code is selected in the Purchase module, the system will display the list of preferred suppliers in a prioritised order.

This functionality streamlines the reordering process, saving time and minimising the risk of errors. It also allows procurement teams to make quicker decisions based on the established preferences, ensuring consistency and efficiency in supply chain management.
